Pine Beach is a borough in Ocean County NJ. As of a 2018 census, it has a population of approximately 2,172. It was incorporated as a borough in 1925 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. Although not certain, the name is probably derived from the proliferation of pine trees in the area. Pine Beach borders on the Ocean County municipalities of Beachwood and Berkeley Township.
